BAKU'S FIRST SNOW!
I thought for a bit that maybe this would be my first snowless winter.
But alas, I woke up to a winter wonderland on Thursday morning. YEAAAAH.
Walking from my flat to the metro at 8:15 am:
The view from the office of my first morning lesson. Beyond the buildings is the Caspian Sea...it's too snowy to even see it!
The snow is long gone, and has left muddy water covering the road. My boots are a mess (a definite no-no here) but the snow was worth it! Perhaps the lack of snow is just as well...I'm living in a flat with NO HEAT! A white winter would have left me chillllllllly.
